Following the release of their poignant stripped back single ‘Getting Better’ in September, Waxflower are kicking things back into fifth gear with their new release ‘Again’.
‘Again’ is somewhat a signal of a new era for the pop-punk visionaries. It is what frontman Tristan Higginson describes as “a line in the sand” for the band’s next step.
“‘Again’ is a mantra of hope”, continues Higginson. “It’s a reminder of my capacity to heal when times inevitably get tough. Although it does touch on those times, there is a vein of optimism running through the song that’s new for us”.
