The indie punk unit The Carolyn is set to release their debut LP, “This Will Begin to Make Things Right” soon. This release will indeed be out via 59 X Records this summer.
Originally founded as a solo project, The Carolyn has transformed into the indie punk frontrunners that you've likely yet to hear about.
Now with bassist/vocalist Oliver Conlon and drummer David Mulazzi, the band is set to make up for their lack of words with a debut LP full of passion and angst facing 20-somethings in small-town suburban America.
The debut single, “A.M.” tells the story of an existential crisis involving the distorted reality in chasing the “idea” of someone rather than facing the truth of who they really are. Inspired by the character, Diane Evans, from David Lynch's “Twin Peaks”, this 2:13 tune delivers a lasting impact on a world we so desperately wish to control.
