Travis Cut are one of the unsung heroes of the UK punk scene. They played their first show in 1993, opening for D.O.A. in London. This was soon followed by tours with Lagwagon and Down By Law. As well as a Record Of The Week on Steve Lamacq’s Radio 1 show.
Paying short sharp bursts of (bitter) sweet punk rock heavily influenced by classic US '80s melodic hardcore & punk, like Husker Du, Naked Raygun, and All/ Descendents, Travis Cut also maintained a strong musical link to their great British melodic punk forefathers like The Clash and The Buzzcocks.
2018 is their 25th Anniversary. The original line-up of Mac, Alex and Chris will indeed be hitting a few stages to celebrate. All the original Travis Cut albums will be re-issued by Bomber Music over the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
In addition, the first album, 'Serial Incompetence', will be re-issued on 22 January 2018!
