Indie rockers Laulia share their latest single “13/7”!
The song is taken from their new double-A sided single “13/7” and “Outcast Kids”. Commenting on the video, vocalist Lauren Holmes explains: “In the video for 13/7, the character is trying their best to help a loved one get back on their feet whilst they aren’t taking care of themselves. Over time, the toll of their downhill spiral becomes something that isn’t easy to handle. And really begins to effect the character. Though she tries her best and feels it’s her responsibility to fix things, eventually the burden becomes too much to handle. And she has to accept that no matter how much effort she puts in, it isn’t going to change anything. By the end, she makes the decision to put herself first. And relieve herself from an impossible task of helping someone who doesn’t want to be helped.”
