Harrison Rimmer is a singer, songwriter from a small town called Fleetwood. On the 19th October, he will be releasing his next single, “Old Heart”. The latter will be available on all good music sites such as iTunes, Spotify, Deezer, etc.
On this upcoming release, Harrison comments:
“Old Heart is a track that emerged earlier in March 2018. This song is dedicated to anyone who is looking to have fun, who's in a long distant relationship or anyone who just wants to let it all go. At the time of writing this I was listening to a lot of Keith Urban, Johnny Cash, Eels and Tracey Chapman. I wanted to do a track that combined pop, and rock. And also create a wall of sound that had some colourful graffiti on it. This song really tested me as a songwriter. With the multi layered guitar solo, subtle harmonies, and whilst in the studio being pushed on my writing. The original lyric was "Come on baby put this Old Heart to rest, cause I can't stand to not be on your chest...". And my producer, Grant Henderson, pulled me up on this line and said I can do so much better than that. So after 12 hours of soul searching, running it by my friends, challenging myself as a writer, I managed to come up with "Come on baby put this Old Heart to rest, Cause I'm so tired of looking through this lens...”
“Old Heart” will be officially out on October 19th and trust me, you don't want to miss it! If you guys are into alternative sounds, then, you'll most likely love this upcoming release!
